Dorchester, Wisconsin
A family-owned group of businesses in central Wisconsin — from dairy and farm equipment to food-processing machinery, precision manufacturing and championship combat robots, and on into AI research and Wisconsin sports.
One family, one machine shop, and a habit of building whatever the job needs.
It started in the machine shop. Westar Mfg. has been cutting, machining and fabricating precision parts in Dorchester since 1994 — including the patented food-processing equipment and custom industrial work that runs in plants every day.
The same shop built the rest: Udder Gun parlor equipment for dairy farms, and the championship Team Whyachi combat robots and the robot parts that go with them.
Newer work carries it forward — Grounded Discovery Labs puts frontier AI to work searching for inventions worth building, and Ewert Sports covers Wisconsin high-school sports.

Waterjet cutting, machining, fabrication, robotics, food-processing equipment and custom industrial projects. The core manufacturing arm, in Dorchester since 1994.

The parlor teat scrubber for dairy farms — a patented air-operated design for faster, more consistent parlor prep. Complete systems, replacement parts and dealer information.

BattleBots champions since 2001 — championship combat robots plus battle-proven gearboxes, master switches, robot components and official merchandise.

Frontier AI models combined with grounded research, adversarial evaluation, prior-art analysis and quantitative testing, used to search for novel, buildable technologies worth pursuing.
